This coffee is grown by Jairo Ivan Lopez. Jairo planted Gesha in two different farms in Pijao, Quindio and Java in one farm in Buenavista. Following strict criteria, and careful methods this bean was planted and processed. The coffee cherries were fermented dry for 12 hours before being dried and packed for shipping. A classic gesha this bean is tea like and citrusy but also sports tropical notes. El Vergel makes for an impressive filter coffee.
